About ITBP

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is a central armed police force tasked with guarding India’s border with the Tibet Autonomous Region. ITBP Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit

• Educational Qualifications:

Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication)

1. Bachelor’s degree in Science with PCM or relevant fields, or
2. Bachelor in Computer Application, or
3. B.E. in Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science, etc., or
4. Associate Member of IEI or equivalent in related fields.

Head Constable (Telecommunication)

1. 10+2 with PCM, minimum 45% aggregate, or
2. 10th class with ITI certificate in Electronics/Electrical/Computer, or
3. 10th class with PCM and 3-year diploma in relevant fields.

Constable (Telecommunication)

1. Essential: Matriculation from a recognized board.
2. Desirable: Diploma or certificate from ITI in Electronics, Communication, or related fields.

ITBP Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

• Admit Cards: Issued online; candidates must bring printed copies of the application form and admit card for entry to PET & PST.
• Identity Verification: Includes biometric capture before PET & PST and can occur at any stage. Failure in biometric verification cancels candidature.
• No Re-evaluation: Scores won’t be re-evaluated or re-checked, and no related correspondence will be entertained.

ITBP Recruitment 2024 Salary

1. Pay Scale:
   • Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication): ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 (Level-6, 7th CPC)
   • Head Constable (Telecommunication): ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 (Level-4, 7th CPC)
   • Constable (Telecommunication): ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 (Level-3, 7th CPC)
2. Allowances: Includes Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, Special Compensatory Allowance (for border postings), HRA, Transport Allowance, LTC, free medical facilities, and more, per ITBP rules.
3. Pension: Eligible for the New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme, applicable to new Central Government recruits.
