About IUAC

The Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) is an autonomous institution established by the University Grants Commission of India. Its aim is to foster the development of active research groups in astronomy and astrophysics within Indian universities. Located on the University of Pune campus, IUCAA is adjacent to the National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, which operates the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope. The campus of IUCAA was designed by renowned Indian architect Charles Correa.

Educational Qualification:

• Administrative Officer/Assistant/LDC: The candidate should have any degree from a recognized university or institution.

Age Limit (As on 05 January 2025):

• Administrative Officer: Maximum age 40 years
• Assistant: Maximum age 27 years
• LDC: Maximum age 27 years

IUAC Recruitment 2025 Salary:

• Administrative Officer: Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500/-
• Assistant: Rs. 25,500 – 81,000/-
• LDC: Rs. 19,900 – 63,200/-

The selection process for IUAC Jobs will be based on an interview.
