KSET Notification 2025 | Eligibility, Karnataka SET Application Form

The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2025 has been announced by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). This exam is conducted for the post of Assistant Professor/ Lecturer in universities and colleges across Karnataka. Eligible candidates can apply online from 28th August 2025 to 18th September 2025. The exam will be conducted on 2nd November 2025.

About Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA)

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is the state-level organization responsible for conducting various entrance and eligibility tests in Karnataka, including KSET. The KSET exam determines the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor positions in Government, Aided, and Private institutions.

KSET Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from a UGC-recognized university.
• General Category: Minimum 55% marks; SC/ST/OBC/PwD/LGBTQ/Transgender: Minimum 50% marks.
• Final-year Master’s students or those awaiting results can apply provisionally.
• PhD holders who completed both PG and PhD before 19th September 1991 get 5% relaxation.
• Candidates already qualified in KSET for a subject cannot reapply for the same subject.

2. Click on “Register” or “Login” to start the application process.
3. Fill in personal and academic details carefully.
4. Upload required documents (photo, signature, etc.).
5. Pay the application fee online.
6. Review the application form and submit.
7. Take a printout of the confirmation page for reference.
