Age Limit

Upper Age Limit by Post: The upper age limit for General and EWS category candidates is specified for each post.

Age Relaxation:

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• SC/ST: 5 years
• Persons with Disabilities (PwD):
  • 10 years for General (UR)
  • 13 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)
  • 15 years for SC/ST
• Domicile of J&K: 5 years for candidates who were domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between 01.01.1980 and 31.12.1989, as per Government of India guidelines.
• Ex-Servicemen: As per the existing Government of India guidelines.

The age limit ranges from 21 to 50 years, depending on the post and category.

MECON Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The selection procedure will involve a personal interview, though the mode of selection may change at the discretion of management. Candidates must verify that they meet all eligibility requirements since their information and documents will be reviewed during the interview and at any point in the recruiting process.

Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be listed on MECON’s website and notified of interview information via their registered email address. The final list of selected candidates will also be presented on the website, with information on document verification and medical examination sent by email.

Travel Allowance (TA): Outstation candidates attending the interview will be reimbursed for travel expenses under business policies.

Remuneration: In addition to the consolidated pay specified for each post, selected candidates will be eligible for metro or site allowances (if posted at metro or project site locations), subsidized housing (if available), or HRA instead of, medical facilities, PF, leave, and GPA by company policy for contract employees.

MECON Recruitment 2024 Duration & Place Of Posting

Place of Posting: Candidates may be assigned to any project, location, or office within the organization across India. Only those willing to work anywhere in India should apply. Terms and conditions will align with contract employee policies.

Contract Duration: Initially, the contract is for one year, with potential renewal for up to two to three years based on satisfactory performance.
