Mumbai Port Authority Detailed Eligibility

Education Qualification:

• Welfare Officer:
  • Degree from a recognised University/ Institution.
  • Degree or diploma in Social Science from a recognised University/ Institution.
  • Knowledge of Marathi.
  • Desirable: 2 years experience as a Labour Welfare Officer/Industrial Relations Officer in an Industrial/Commercial/Govt. Undertaking.
• Senior Welfare Officer:
  • Degree from a recognised University/ Institution.
  • Degree or diploma in Social Science from a recognised University/ Institution.
  • 5 years’ experience as a Labour Welfare Officer/Industrial Relations Officer in an Industrial/Commercial/Govt. Undertaking.
  • Knowledge of Marathi.

Specialized Degrees/Diplomas in Social Science will include qualifications like:

• Diploma in Labour Welfare
• Diploma for Labour Welfare Workers
• Diploma in Social Services Administration with Industrial Relation and Personnel Management
• Master of Arts in Social Work
• Master of Labour Welfare

Mumbai Port Authority Salary Details:

• Welfare Officer/Senior Welfare Officer: Rs. 50,000/- in the scale of Rs. 50,000-1,60,000 and other admissible allowances. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs. 89,500/- per month, plus HRA if not residing in Mumbai Port Authority quarters.

Mumbai Port Authority Selection Process

The selection process consists of:

• Online Examination: Objective-type questions covering technical subjects, reasoning, general awareness, Marathi language, and English language.
• Interview: Candidates who clear the online exam will be called for an interview.
