NIC Recruitment 2025 About Organization

National Informatics Centre (NIC) functions under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and has been instrumental in implementing e-Governance applications across India. NIC has developed and manages projects like PFMS, eHospital, Vahan, Sarathi, eOffice, ePrisons, ServicePlus, IVFRT, PM KISAN, PRAYAS, and PARIVESH. NIC aims to provide practical exposure and learning opportunities for students through its internship programs.

NIC Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Indian students from recognized universities in India with minimum 60% marks in their last examination pursuing B.E/B.Tech (CS/IT/ECE), M.E/M.Tech, MCA, MSc(CS/IT/Electronics), DoEACC ‘B’ level are eligible. Students in the last year or graduating in summer 2026 are not eligible.

NIC Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

Selection is merit-based and may include a personal or Skype interview. TA/DA is not provided. Candidates must provide authentic academic records. False information will lead to rejection.

NIC Recruitment 2025 Application Process

1. Visit the official NIC portals: https://www.nic.in or https://dii.nic.in
2. Register as a candidate and fill the online internship application form.
3. Upload scanned certificates of completed degrees and last result available.
4. Upload a Recommendation Letter from your academic institution on its letterhead.
5. Submit a Statement of Purpose (100-250 words) highlighting the purpose/benefits of the internship.
6. Select maximum two preferred areas of internship.
7. Submit a self-declaration converting CGPA into percentage, attested by your institution.
8. Submit the application and take a printout for reference.

NIC Recruitment 2025 Token Remuneration

Interns will receive a token stipend of Rs. 10,000 per month, payable after submission and acceptance of the internship report, subject to satisfactory performance certified by the Supervisor/Mentor.

NIC Recruitment 2025 Certificate

Certificates will be issued upon completion of internship and submission of accepted report, countersigned by Training Division, NIC.

• Interns must adhere to NIC’s code of conduct, maintain confidentiality, and follow office timings.
• Interns are responsible for their own accommodation during the internship.
