NIOH Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

1. Assistant
   • Essential Qualifications:
     • Minimum three years Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
     • Working knowledge of computers (MS Office/PowerPoint).
   • Upper Age Limit: 30 years.
2. Technician-I
   • Essential Qualifications & Experience:
     • 12th or Intermediate pass in Science subjects with 55% marks from a Govt. recognized Board.
     • At least one-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) / Computer / Chemical Technology / Industrial Safety from a government-recognized institution.
   • Upper Age Limit: 28 years.
3. Laboratory Attendant-I
   • Essential Qualifications & Experience:
     • 10th Pass with 50% marks in aggregate from a Govt. recognized board.
     • One year working experience in a Govt. recognized/approved/registered Laboratory or ITI in respective field or trade certificate issued by government agencies.
   • Upper Age Limit: 25 years.

NIOH Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

1. Written Test:
   • 100 MCQs, 1 mark per correct answer, 0.25 mark penalty for wrong answers.
   • Conducted at Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
   • The syllabus is to be published separately.
2. Merit List:
   • Top candidates are selected based on written test scores, following DoPT guidelines.
3. Assistant Post:
   • Qualifying candidates will undergo a skill test.
   • The top 20 candidates based on merit will be called first; if they don’t qualify, the next 20 will be invited.

• Assistant: Pay Level-6, Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400
• Technician-I: Pay Level-2, Rs. 19,900 – 63,200
• Laboratory Attendant-I: Pay Level-1, Rs. 18,000 – 56,900
