NITT Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
Candidates must have a Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or a Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course. The selection process for these degrees should be described through any one of the following methods:
- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- Selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Essential Requirements
- B.E/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA from a recognized University/Institute. OR
- M.E/M. Tech in Embedded Systems/VLSI/Signal Processing or any other specialization in ECE selected through GATE with 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA.
- Candidates must have a qualified GATE score obtained in the last four years from the closing date of application.
- Relevant research/teaching experience evidenced by published papers in standard refereed journals.
Skill Sets Required
- Sound Knowledge of Verilog RTL Coding
- Strong fundamentals in C/C++, MATLAB, and AI algorithm implementation in C/Python
- Multi-threading and Programming
- Good knowledge of Linear algebra
- Knowledge in Digital signal processing, adaptive signal processing & array signal processing
- Hands-on experience in FPGA Architecture and Programming
- Hands-on experience with AI-based Micro-controllers and Microprocessors Programming and debugging
- Hands-on experience in IoT-based electronic product design and development
- Sensors and actuators used in healthcare applications and interfacing with microprocessors and micro-controllers
Age Limit
The applicant’s age should be below 35 years as of the closing date of the application.
NITT Recruitment 2024 Salary
- JRF: Rs. 37,000 + 18% HRA for the first 3 years, and Rs. 42,000 + 18% HRA for the 4th & 5th year (Valid Gate/NET score)
- PA-I: Rs. 25,000 + 18% HRA for the first 3 years, and Rs. 28,000 + 18% HRA for the 4th & 5th year (No Gate/NET score)
