- Candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university OR have passed 12th with minimum 60% marks (General/OBC) and 50% marks (SC/ST/PwD/Ex-servicemen).

- Must know the regional language of the state where applying.
- Age between 21 and 30 years, with age relaxations as per category:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Persons with Disability: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Actual service period + 3 years, max 45 years
- Widows/Divorced women/separated legally (not remarried): 5 years
- Existing OICL employees: 5 years
