Trade Apprentices

• Library Assistant: Passed 10th class
• ITI in relevant trades: Mechanic Auto Electronics, Electrician, Fitter, Draughtsman, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Mechanic Diesel, Mechanic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Fire Safety Technician, Medical Laboratory Technician (Cardiology/Pathology/Radiology), Stenographer (English), Surveyor, Welder (Gas & Electric)

Graduate Apprentices

• Executive Finance (Oil & Gas): B.Com
• Lab Chemist/Analyst – Petroleum Products: B.Sc (Chemistry)
• Executive HR – Oil & Gas: BBA
• Secretarial Office Assistant – Oil & Gas: Graduate
• Accounts Executive: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce
• Store Keeper (Petroleum Products): Graduate
• Petroleum Executive: Graduate with Geology subject
• Engineering Graduate Apprentices: Computer Science, Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical

Diploma Apprentices

• Fire Safety Supervisor – Diploma

Age Limit (As on 06 November 2025)

Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years (DOB: 06.11.2001 to 06.11.2007)

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (NCL): 3 years
• PwBD: up to 10 years (SC/ST: 15 years, OBC: 13 years)

ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Stipend

• Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 12,300/- per month
• Diploma Apprentice: Rs. 10,900/- per month
• Trade Apprentices: 10th/12th: Rs. 8,200/-, ITI 1 year: Rs. 9,600/-, ITI 2 year: Rs. 10,560/-

ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

Selection is based on merit obtained in the qualifying examination. In case of a tie, older candidates will be preferred. Selected candidates will be notified via registered email and required to bring original documents for verification.
