PM Internship Scheme 2024 Eligibility

• Applicants must have completed high school education.
• Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications:
  • Certificate from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI)
  • Diploma from a Polytechnic Institute
  • Degree in fields such as:
    • Bachelor of Arts (BA)
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
    • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
    • Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
    • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
    • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma)
• Age Limit: Candidates must be aged between 21 and 24 years.
• Online/Distance Learning Eligibility: Students enrolled in online or distance learning programs are also eligible to apply.
• Income Limit: Candidates with a family income exceeding Rs. 8 lakh per annum are not eligible.

PM Internship Scheme 2024 Benefits

• Monthly Payment:
  • Each intern will receive ₹500 per month from the company’s CSR funds, based on attendance and conduct policies.
• Government Contribution:
  • After the company’s payment, the government will transfer an additional ₹4,500 directly to the intern’s Aadhaar-linked bank account through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme.
• Joining Grant:
  • A one-time joining grant of ₹6,000 will be provided by the government to each intern upon joining their internship, also through the DBT system.
