RBI JE Recruitment 2025 For Junior Engineers

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the recruitment for Junior Engineers (Civil/Electrical) to fill 11 vacancies across India. Eligible candidates with a B.E/B.Tech or Diploma in Civil or Electrical Engineering and relevant experience can apply for these positions. The online application process is open until 20th January 2025, with the Online Examination scheduled for 8th February 2025.

RBI JE Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Junior Engineer (Civil):
  • Minimum three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering (with 65% marks, 55% for SC/ST/PwBD), or a Degree in Civil Engineering (with 55% marks, 45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
  • Experience: 2 years for Diploma holders, 1-year for Degree holders in civil construction/maintenance.
• Junior Engineer (Electrical):
  • Minimum three-year Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronic Engineering (with 65% marks, 55% for SC/ST/PwBD), or a Degree in Electrical Engineering (with 55% marks, 45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
  • Experience: 2 years for Diploma holders, 1-year for Degree holders in electrical installations, including large buildings and systems.

Age Limit (As of 01 December 2024):

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years (up to 35 years)
  • OBC: 3 years (up to 33 years)
  • PWD: 10 years (GEN/EWS), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST)
  • Ex-Servicemen: Service duration plus 3 years (up to 50 years)
  • Widows/Divorced Women/Separated Women: Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST)

RBI JE Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

1. Online Examination (8th February 2025):
   • Total Marks: 300
   • Time: 150 minutes
   • Sections:
     • English Language: 50 questions, 50 marks
     • Engineering Discipline Paper I: 40 questions, 100 marks
     • Engineering Discipline Paper II: 40 questions, 100 marks
     • General Intelligence and Reasoning: 50 questions, 50 marks
2. Language Proficiency Test (LPT):
   • Conducted in the Official/Local Language of the respective zone.
3. Final Selection:
   • Based on the online examination score, I am qualified in LPT, medical fitness, and document verification.

Note: Negative marking applies (1/4th mark deducted for each wrong answer).

• Salary: ₹80,236 per month
