RBI JE Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Junior Engineer (Civil):
  • Minimum three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering (with 65% marks, 55% for SC/ST/PwBD), or a Degree in Civil Engineering (with 55% marks, 45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
  • Experience: 2 years for Diploma holders, 1-year for Degree holders in civil construction/maintenance.
• Junior Engineer (Electrical):
  • Minimum three-year Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronic Engineering (with 65% marks, 55% for SC/ST/PwBD), or a Degree in Electrical Engineering (with 55% marks, 45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
  • Experience: 2 years for Diploma holders, 1-year for Degree holders in electrical installations, including large buildings and systems.

Age Limit (As of 01 December 2024):

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years (up to 35 years)
  • OBC: 3 years (up to 33 years)
  • PWD: 10 years (GEN/EWS), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST)
  • Ex-Servicemen: Service duration plus 3 years (up to 50 years)

RBI JE Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

1. Online Examination (8th February 2025):
   • Total Marks: 300
   • Time: 150 minutes
   • Sections:
     • English Language: 50 questions, 50 marks
     • Engineering Discipline Paper I: 40 questions, 100 marks
     • Engineering Discipline Paper II: 40 questions, 100 marks
     • General Intelligence and Reasoning: 50 questions, 50 marks
2. Language Proficiency Test (LPT):
   • Conducted in the Official/Local Language of the respective zone.
3. Final Selection:
   • Based on the online examination score, I am qualified in LPT, medical fitness, and document verification.

Note: Negative marking applies (1/4th mark deducted for each wrong answer).
