RBI Summer Placement 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Students currently in the penultimate year of their courses only.
• Courses eligible: Postgraduate or Integrated Five-year courses in Management / Statistics / Law / Commerce / Economics / Econometrics / Banking / Finance or 3-year full-time professional Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Educational qualifications must be from recognized universities/institutions in India.
• Correct details in online application are mandatory; no modifications allowed after submission.

RBI Summer Placement 2026 Selection Process

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at the respective RBI offices in January/February 2026.
• Outstation candidates bear travel costs initially; AC II Tier fare reimbursement is provided for selected interns.
• Maximum 125 students will be selected for summer placement.

RBI Summer Placement 2026 Duration

Normally 3 months during April to July 2026. Duration may be reduced or extended at the bank’s discretion.

RBI Summer Placement 2026 Facilities / Stipend

• Monthly stipend: ₹20,000.
• Outstation trainees need to arrange accommodation on their own.
• Declaration of secrecy required before joining the internship.
