RITES Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): Full-time B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch. degree in relevant disciplines.
• Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): B.A./B.Com./BBA/B.Sc./BCA.
• Diploma Apprentice: Full-time Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines.
• ITI Trade Apprentice: ITI Pass Out.
• The essential qualification for the respective trades must be from a recognized University/Institute in the relevant discipline, duly recognized by UGC/AICTE (for Degree/Diploma) or NCVT/SCVT (for ITI).
• For ITI candidates, there is no restriction on the year of attainment of the essential qualification.

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• UR/EWS: 60%
• SC/ST/OBC/PwBD: 50%

Age Limit:

The age limit for candidates applying for RITES Apprentice Recruitment 2024 will be as per the Apprenticeship Rules.

Candidates Not Eligible to Apply: Candidates who fall under any of the following categories will not be eligible to apply for Apprenticeship:

1. Candidates awaiting results for the essential qualification on the cut-off date (06.12.2024).
2. Candidates who have not completed 18 years of age on the cut-off date.
3. Candidates who have previously undergone Apprenticeship Training or are currently pursuing it under the Apprentices Act, 1961, as amended from time to time.
4. Candidates who have undergone training or have job experience for one year or more after attaining the essential qualification.
5. Candidates completing the Essential Qualification of Engineering/Non-Engineering Degree/Diploma (final semester result date) prior to 06.12.2019 (i.e., five years ago).

RITES Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Shortlisting Criteria:

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on a merit list, formed on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the essential qualification relevant to the respective trade.
• There will be no written test or interview.
• In case two candidates have the same marks, the candidate with the older age will be placed higher on the merit list.

1. The merit list will be prepared after document verification.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via e-mail and listed on the RITES website.
3. Original documents must be brought for verification at the time of joining.
4. Unfilled vacancies will be filled from subsequent merit lists.
5. False information will lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.

RITES Recruitment 2024 Application Process

1. Engineering/Graduate (BA/BBA/B.Com/B.Sc./BCA) or Diploma candidates must register with a complete profile on the NATS portal: https://nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php.
2. ITI candidates must register on the NAPS portal: www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
3. Once registered, log in using your User ID/Email ID and apply for the Apprenticeship openings with “RITES Limited” as the Establishment Name.
4. Ensure that all profile details and aggregate percentages are correct. Contact NATS/NAPS for corrections if needed.
5. After applying, submit scanned copies of documents by 25th December 2024 through the Google Form: https://forms.gle/S9CFJ7YYx4JyKMgw5.
6. Combine all documents into a single PDF (max size: 10 MB) and upload it through the Google Form.
7. Only one submission of the Google Form is allowed.
8. No email or hard copy submissions will be accepted.
9. Submit only the required documents listed above.
10. Indicate your location preference in the Google Form. The final posting will depend on company requirements, and no changes will be entertained.
11. Applications through other modes (email, hard copy, etc.) will not be accepted. Ensure successful registration on NATS/NAPS and submission of documents via the Google Form within the stipulated timeline.
