Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from a recognized institution in the following trades: Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Electronics Mechanic, and more.
  • OR a Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.
  • OR a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering (or a combination of these engineering disciplines).
• Age Limit:
  • General (UR) & EWS: 18-30 years
  • OBC (NCL): 18-33 years
  • SC/ST: 18-35 years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years
• OBC (NCL) candidates: 3 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Service rendered in defense + 3 years
• PWD: 10 years + relaxation for the respective category
• Women candidates who are widowed, divorced, or judicially separated but not remarried: 35 years (UR), 38 years (OBC), 40 years (SC/ST)

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection process includes the following stages:

1. First Stage CBT (CBT I)
2. Second Stage CBT (CBT II)
3. Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
4. Document Verification (DV)
5. Medical Examination (ME)

Candidates must clear each stage to be considered for the Assistant Loco Pilot position.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 19,900/-, as per the official notification from the Railway Recruitment Board.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Recruitment 2025 Application Fee

• SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen/Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically backward classes: Rs. 250/-
• Other categories (General/OBC): Rs. 500/-
  (The application fee will be refunded for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen/Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically backward candidates after appearing for the First Stage CBT.)
