SAIL Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

1. Consultant (E3 Grade)

• Upper Age Limit: 41 years
• Qualification & Experience:
  • PG Degree (MD/MS)/DNB in relevant medical disciplines (General Medicine, Radio Diagnosis, etc.) from a recognized university/institute.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant discipline.

2. Sr. Medical Officer (E2 Grade)

• Upper Age Limit: 38 years
• Qualification & Experience:
  • PG Degree (MD/MS)/DNB from a recognized university/institute in relevant medical disciplines.
  • Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in the relevant discipline.

3. Medical Officer (OHS) (E1 Grade)

• Upper Age Limit: 34 years
• Qualification & Experience:
  • MBBS with Degree/Diploma in Industrial/Occupational Health / AFIH from a recognized university/institute.
  • Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in a recognized medical college/hospital/institution.

4. Assistant Manager (Survey) (E1 Grade)

• Upper Age Limit: 30 years
• Qualification & Experience:
  • B.E/B.Tech (Full-time) in Mining Engg./Civil Engg. with a valid Mine Surveyor certificate of competency under MMR-1961, issued by DGMS.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification working experience as a mine surveyor in opencast mines under a first-class Mine Manager.

5. Mines Foreman (S3 Grade)

• Upper Age Limit: 28 years
• Qualification & Experience:
  • Matriculation with a full-time Diploma in Mining from a recognized university/institute.
  • Holding a valid Mines Foreman Certificate of Competency under MMR-1961, restricted to opencast working only, issued by DGMS.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate recognized by DGMS.
  • Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in opencast mines under a first-class Mine Manager.

6. Jr. Engineering Associate (Electrical Supervisor) (S-3 Grade) – for Mines

• Upper Age Limit: 28 years
• Qualification & Experience:
  • Matriculation with a full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
  • Passed the examination for Electrical Supervisory Certificate of Competency to work in Mines as per CEA Rule 2010.
  • The Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency must cover mining installations and be valid for work in Chhattisgarh / Madhya Pradesh / All India.

7. Technical Associate (Boiler Operation) (S-1 Grade)

• Upper Age Limit: 28 years
• Qualification & Experience:
  • Matriculation with a full-time ITI in a relevant trade from a recognized institute.
  • Second Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency.

1. A) Consultant / Sr. Medical Officer

• Selection: Interview. Minimum qualifying marks: 50% (UR/EWS), 40% (SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD).

• Selection: Online Test (CBT) and Interview (80:20 weightage). Minimum qualifying marks in CBT: 50 percentile (UR/EWS), 40 percentile (SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD).

SAIL Recruitment 2024 Training & Probation

• Grades E1 to E3: Selected candidates will be on probation for one year. Confirmation will be based on conduct and performance assessment.
• Mines Foreman, Jr. Engineering Associate (Electrical Supervisor), Technical Associate (Boiler Operation): According to company rules, selected candidates will be placed on probation for 1 year or 6 months.

• Sr. Medical Officer (E2): Rs. 70,000-2,00,000
• Medical Officer (OHS)/Assistant Manager (Survey) (E1):
  • 1st year: Rs. 50,000-1,60,000
  • From 2nd year: Rs. 60,000-1,80,000
• Mines Foreman/Jr. Engineering Associate (Electrical Supervisor) (S3): Rs. 26,600-38,920
• Technical Associate (Boiler Operation) (S1): Rs. 25,070-35,070
