State Bank of India has notified a total of 2000 Probationary Officer vacancies and is going to recruit prospective candidates, who aspire to join the State Bank of India as Probationary Officers. The SBI PO Selection Process includes 3 stages- Prelims, Mains, and Interviews. Candidates have to qualify for all three stages to be selected for Probationary Officer posts in SBI branches. SBI PO 2023 Education Qualification

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
• Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for an interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2023.
• Candidates having an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2023.
• Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, etc. would also be eligible.

SBI PO 2023 Salary

• Presently, the starting basic pay is 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) on the scale of 36000-1490/7- 46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I.
• The official will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributed Pension Fund i.e., NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, Lease rental facility etc., and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

SBI PO 2023 Age Limit

• Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2023 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2002 and not earlier than 02.04.1993 (both days inclusive).
• Relaxation in the upper age limit shall be given as per Govt Norms. Check the official notification to know about age relaxation.

SBI PO 2023 Process

The selection for SBI Probationary Officers will be done through a 3 Phase process

• Phase-I: Online Preliminary Examination
• Phase-II: Online Main Examination
• Phase-III: Psychometric Test, Interview & Group Exercises

SBI PO 2023 Exam Pattern

SBI PO Exam Pattern 2023 covers two phases for online exams, Prelims and mains. This will be followed by an interview.

SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern

• This is the first round of the SBI PO Exam.
• This will have 3 sections and each section will have to be completed in 20 Minutes.
• The total marks of the SBI PO Prelims Exam are 100 Marks while the duration of the exam is 1 Hour.
• One (1) mark is awarded for every correct answer.
• There will be a penalty of 0.25 Marks for every incorrect answer marked by the candidate.
• All the questions will be set bilingually i.e. in English and Hindi, except the English Language.
