Candidates who have appeared or will appear for their final examination on the last date of filling out the online application form are eligible to participate in the selection process. However, their offer to join the Board will be contingent upon producing the necessary documents confirming the successful completion of the requisite qualification.
SEBI Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
Candidates must not exceed 30 years of age as of March 31, 2024, meaning they must have been born on or after April 01, 1994. Age relaxation will be provided as per applicable rules.
SEBI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection process will comprise three phases. Phase I will consist of an online examination with two papers. Candidates shortlisted from Phase I will proceed to Phase II, which will also be an online examination with two papers. Those shortlisted from Phase II will be called for an Interview. SEBI reserves the right to modify the selection procedure as deemed fit.
SEBI Recruitment 2024 Salary
- Probation: Selected candidates will be appointed as Officers Grade ‘A’ and will undergo a probationary period of two years.
- Pay & Benefits: Officers in Grade A receive a pay scale of ₹ 44,500-2,500(4)-54,500-2,850(7)-74,450-EB-2,850(4)-85,850-3,300(1)-89,150 (17 years). Currently, the gross emolument in Mumbai, including SEBI’s Contribution towards the National Pension Scheme (NPS), Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Family Allowance, Local Allowance, Learning Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, etc., is approximately ₹1,49,500/- per month without accommodation and ₹1,11,000/- per month with accommodation. Other benefits include Leave Fare Concession, Medical Expenses, Eye Refraction, Education Allowance, Financial Dailies, Book Grant, Briefcase, Conveyance Expenses, House Cleaning Allowance, Staff Furnishing Scheme, Scheme for Purchasing Computers, Subsidized Lunch Facility, and all other benefits admissible to an Officer in Grade A in SEBI.
- Accommodation & Posting: Residential accommodation will be provided based on availability. Officers may be posted and transferred to any location in India where SEBI has its offices. They may be assigned to any department of SEBI, regardless of their stream.
SEBI Recruitment 2024 Application Fee
The application fee cum intimation charges are ₹1000/- plus 18% GST for Unreserved, OBC, and EWSs category candidates, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates are required to pay ₹100/- as intimation charges plus 18% GST.
