Southern Railway Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Southern Railway Recruitment Education Qualification

Senior Technical Associate	The minimum qualification is 4 years of Bachelor’s degree in (a) Civil Engineering (OR) (b) A combination of any sub-stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. A valid GATE score in the last 3yrs (2021 to 2023).

Southern Railway Recruitment Age Limit

• The Age limit is between 22 to 30 years.

Age Relaxation:

• The upper age limit is relaxable as under, subject to submission of the requisite certificate.
• For OBC candidates: 03 yrs
• For SC/ST candidates: 05 yrs
• No age relaxation is allowed for SC/ST/OBC – candidates applying against unreserved vacancies.

Southern Railway Recruitment Selection Process

• The contractual hiring will be done on the basis of merit.
• The GATE score will be the basis for selection for Senior Technical Associate.
• In the case of the same GATE score obtained by the candidates, the percentage of marks obtained in the academic education in UG will be taken.
• Further, if there is a tie, the senior-most by date of birth will be considered.
