About Staff Selection Commission

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization under the Government of India responsible for recruiting staff for various posts in the different Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. SSC conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination to recruit candidates for Group C posts like LDC, DEO, JSA etc.

SSC CHSL Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• For LDC/JSA and DEO (except in Ministries): 12th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
• For DEO in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs and Ministry of Culture: 12th pass in Science stream with Mathematics.
