THDC Salary
- Selected candidates will be placed at a minimum basic pay of Rs. 50,000.00 in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000 –
3%-1,60,000 (IDA) during the period of training as Engineer Trainee in E-2 Grade. These candidates
will be absorbed after successful completion of training as Assistant Manager in E-3 Grade in the pay
scale of Rs. 60,000-3%-1,80,000 (IDA). During the training period besides Basic pay, candidates will also be
paid Dearness Allowance and entitled to other perquisites & allowances under the cafeteria
approach.
THDC Age Limit
- As of December 13, 2023, age limits are 35 years for ST candidates and 33 years for OBC candidates.
THDC Recruitment 2023 Selection Process
- The eligible candidates must have appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-
2022. Candidates shall be shortlisted based on the 2022 GATE score from among the candidates who apply
against the advertisement for the post of Engineer Trainee (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) in THDCIL.

- Valid and active Email ID and Mobile No.
(E-mail ID and mobile number to be entered in the online registration form is mandatory. In case a
candidate does not have a valid e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before
applying online. Candidates are advised to keep the e-mail ID and mobile number entered in the
online registration form active for at least one year. No change in the e-mail ID or mobile number
will be allowed once entered. All future correspondence shall be made via e-mail and/ or SMS
only.) - A scanned copy of a recent passport-size color photograph of the candidate with a white background (Size-50 KB & Format-JPG/PNG/PDF) (The photograph scanned and uploaded in the THDCIL online registration form should be same as submitted/uploaded in the GATE-2022 application form and GATE-2022 admit card)
- Scanned signature of the candidate. (Size-20 KB & Format-JPG/PNG/PDF). (Signature (in Black ink) against a white background is to be scanned and uploaded in the space earmarked in the online registration form. The candidate is advised to confirm his/her uploaded signature is clearly visible/ identifiable at the appropriate place.)
- Scanned copy of Marksheet of Class Xth and XIIth & Marksheet and Degree of Full-Time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) degree in relevant discipline. (Size-125 KB & Format-JPG/PNG/PDF)
- Scanned copy of proof of Date of Birth (Class Xth Certificate-Size-125 KB & FormatJPG/PNG/PDF)
- Scanned copy of Caste/ Category Certificate (if applicable in case of SC/OBC(NCL)/PwBD/J&K Domiciled / Ex-Servicemen/ Victims of riots /Doob Kshetra of THDC Projects) in a format prescribed by the Government of India. (Size-125 KB & Format-JPG/PNG/PDF)
- Scanned copy of Essential Qualification Marksheet & Degree Certificate. (Size-125 KB & Format-JPG/PNG/PDF).
- Scanned copy of Proof of norms adopted by University/Institute to convert CGPA/OGPA/DGPA
