TSECL Manager Grade-B Eligibility Criteria

Post	Essential Qualification
Manager (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil) Grade-B	Diploma (as per Section 22 UGC Act 1956) in the respective branch from AICTE approved institute. Candidates with Degree only (without Diploma) are not eligible. Must be domicile of Tripura and furnish PRCT (Resident Certificate of Tripura). Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok is required.
Age Relaxation	Upper age limit relaxable by 5 years for ST/SC/PwDs and as per other rules for Ex-Servicemen. Specific relaxations apply as per state rules.

TSECL Manager Grade-B Selection Process

Stage	Details
Written Test	Computer based written examination (85 marks). Cut-off for written test: 34 out of 85.
Interview	Interview carries 15 marks. Final merit: Written (85) + Interview (15).
Final Merit	Selection based on combined marks. Preference/ separate merit list for wards of TSECL employees as applicable.
Other	Document verification, medical fitness and production of original testimonials mandatory at time of verification/interview.

TSECL Manager Grade-B Service Conditions & Training

Training Period	Appointed initially as Management Trainee for 1 year with consolidated remuneration Rs.23,600 per month. On successful completion, appointed as Manager Grade-B and placed in pay scale with probation of 2 years.
Probation	2 years after completion of training period
Term / Termination	Either party can terminate contract by giving 30 days’ notice or paying 1 month salary. No automatic entitlement to pension from TSECL/State.

TSECL Manager Grade-B How to Apply

1. Download and fill the prescribed application form (Annexure-A) as per advertisement.
2. Attach DD (application fee), two recent passport size coloured photographs, self-attested copies of certificates/mark sheets, PRCT (Tripura resident certificate), caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificates and other testimonials.
3. Place the application in a sealed envelope super-scribed “Application for the post of <Name of Post> under TSECL”.
4. Send the envelope to: Managing Director, Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL), Bidyut Bhavan, North Banamalipur, Agartala, Tripura (West), Pin-799001 so as to reach between 10-Nov-2025 and 04-Dec-2025 (up to 05:00 PM).
5. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for written test / interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test/interview.
