UCO Bank seeks online applications from persons seeking employment as apprentices under the Apprentice Act of 1961 (as amended). Candidates are encouraged to apply online at https://nats.education.gov.in.

• Candidates can only apply for positions in one state.
• Before applying, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements on the day of eligibility.
• The Bank’s website will include detailed information regarding the online written test/interview, a list of selected candidates, and the results of provisionally qualified candidates.

UCO Bank Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Graduate degree from a recognized University/Institute approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
• The qualification must have been declared on or before 01.07.2024.
• Candidates must produce mark sheets and provisional/degree certificates when required by the bank.

Age

• Minimum: 20 years
• Maximum: 28 years (as of 01.07.2024)
• Candidates must be born between 02.07.1996 and 01.07.2004 (inclusive).

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC-NCL: 3 years
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
• PwBD (OBC): 13 years
• PwBD (UR/EWS): 10 years
• Widows, divorced women, legally separated women: Up to 35 years (UR/EWS), 38 years (OBC), 40 years (SC/ST)
• Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years

Nationality/Citizenship

• An Indian citizen or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan.
• Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1962.
• Persons of Indian origin who migrated from specific countries, provided they have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Candidates seeking age relaxation must submit the necessary certificates during document verification or any stage of the engagement process.

UCO Bank Recruitment 2024 Duration of Training

• Total duration of training: One year from the date of contract.
• Training hours will be as applicable to the clerical staff of the bank.

Mode of Selection

1. Screening and Interview
   • Selection through screening and personal interview.
   • A written test may be conducted if there are many applications.
2. Written Test
   • Details will be on the Bank’s website www.ucobank.com -> Careers.
   • Registration and fee payment are required for participation.
   • Regularly check the website for updates.
3. Eligibility Screening
   • The bank’s screening committee will verify eligibility.
   • No correspondence regarding eligibility will be entertained.
4. Minimum Marks
   • Minimum marks are required in the interview/written test, with a 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
   • Merit list drawn state-wise and category-wise based on scores.
   • Ties resolved by age, ranking older candidates higher.
5. Bank’s Discretion
   • The Bank can change selection criteria and methods.
   • Applications not meeting requirements can be rejected without reason.

• Engagement is subject to medical fitness as per the Bank’s requirements.

UCO Bank Recruitment 2024 Stipend

• Monthly stipend: ₹15,000 (including any subsidy amount by the Government of India).
• UCO Bank payment: ₹10,500 directly to the apprentice’s account monthly.
• Government share: ₹4,500 credited to the apprentice’s bank account through DBT mode as per guidelines.
• No other allowances/benefits are provided.

UCO Bank Recruitment 2024 Test of Local Language

• Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding one of the local languages of the state they are applying for.
• A local language test will be conducted during the document verification process.
• Candidates who fail the test will not be engaged as apprentices.
• Candidates with a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate evidencing local language study will be exempt from the test.
