UPSC Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  A Bachelor’s degree from a university incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament.
• Age Limit:
  • Minimum age: 20 years
  • Maximum age: 25 years
    (Born between 2nd August 2000 and 1st August 2005)
• Age Relaxation:
  • 5 years for SC/ST candidates
  • 3 years for OBC candidates
  • 5 years for Civilian Central Government Servants
  • Ex-servicemen will also be eligible for relaxation.

UPSC Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

1. Written Examination
   • Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence (250 marks)
   • Paper II: General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension (200 marks)
2. Physical Standards Test (PST) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
   Candidates qualifying the written examination will be called for the PST/PET.
3. Interview/Personality Test
   Candidates who qualify the PST/PET will be called for an Interview/Personality Test (150 marks).
4. Final Selection/Merit
   The merit list will be based on the written examination marks and Interview/Personality Test scores.
