Education Qualification

1. Bachelor’s Degree:
   • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech) or B.Sc (Engg) awarded by a recognized University in the fields of Electronics or Electronics & Communication, Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering

OR

1. Associate Membership:
   • Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers (AMIE) in Electronics and Communications Engineering

OR

1. • Graduate Ship awarded by Associate Membership of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (AMIETE) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

OR

1. Master’s Degree:
   • Master of Science in Physics with Electronics or Telecommunications

OR

1. Master of Computer Applications (MCA) after 03 years Bachelor of Science in Physics, Master of Science (Information Technology), Master of Science (Computer Science), Master of Science (Software) from a recognized University.

Note: The qualifications mentioned above are subject to relaxation at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

Age Limit

The age criteria for the Specialist Grade III Recruitment 2024 are as follows:

35 years for candidates belonging to the categories of URs/EWSs.
40 years for candidates belonging to the categories of SCs/STs.
