Odisha Public Service Commission(OPSC) conducts the Assistant Soil Conservation(ASCO) Officer exam. It is a state-level Examination.

Current national events,Current international events, History of British Rule in India and Freedom Struggle,Indian Constitution, World Physical Geography, Physical Geography of India & Odisha, Important aspects of Governance, Transparency & Accountability, e-governance, and Role of Civil Services in democracy, Indian Economy and issues relating to planning, growth, development, employment, poverty alleviation, resource mobilisation, and inflation, Defence & Indian Armed Forces, Scientific Inventions and use of Science, Issues of Environmental, Ecology, Biodiversity & Climate changes, Important National & International Institutions, Organizations, and fora-their Structures, Mandate, etc.
